Vistas del Mar is an Eco-Residence Project that has been designed to harmoniously blend in with the surrounding nature. Encompassing 132 hectares (plus 100 Ha of biological reserve Cerro El Chompipe), the project is located on a plateau in Hacienda Vieja, Orotina, just 30 km east of San Jose. At 660 m above sea level (similar elevation to Atenas), the location has been chosen for its excellent climate. The west of San Jose is visible to the north (Santa Ana and Ciudad Colon) and San Pablo, San Pedro de Turrubares and Puriscal are visible to the east. This project is unique due to its climate, mountainous terrain and view, as well as its proximity to San Jose and the beaches of the Pacific. Also regrading this development, to be considered the new airport to be built in the future. There are 12 houses build already and 50 lots were sold in the project.
The project has its own water system, which draws water from different six springs in the mountains within the project’s boundaries. The electricity is also, already installed.
